Visual Arts

Open Arts currently has 2 visual arts groups which meet in Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast weekly.

Monday 10:30am – 12:30pm

Wednesday 10am – 12pm

Open Arts, Acorn group is specifically for those who are blind or partially sighted. They meet in Divis Community Centre, Falls Road, Belfast weekly and are supported by Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.

Thursday 10am – 12pm

6 members of the Acorn Art group and two facilitators are facing the camera laughing, whilst wearing their playful and colourful Christmas jumpers.

In 2023 they held their first exhibition after lockdown “Pieces of Us” In Arts For All, Cityside Retail Park, Belfast.

The collection was composed of a variety of techniques including print, mosaic and collage.
